キリスト教／東方正教会の首座らがロシア大統領プーチン閣下と会合（2017年12月）

　2017年12月4日、ロシア連邦大統領ウラジーミル・ウラジーミロヴィチ・プーチン閣下（His Excellency Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin）は、キリスト教／東方正教会の首座らと会合しました。

　ロシア正教会では、1917年にモスクワ総主教座が復活し聖ティーホンが選出されてから100年の催しがおこなわれており、他の教会から首座や代表団がおとずれている模様（コンスタンティノープルの全地総主教庁とギリシャ正教会アテネ大主教庁が来てませんが）。

キリスト教／英国正教会【イギリス正教会】がキリスト教／オリエント正教会／コプト正教会より離脱（2015年10月）

　英国正教会【イギリス正教会】公式サイトで2015年10月5日付けで掲載されている記事によりますと、キリスト教／オリエント正教会／コプト正教会の傘下にあった英国正教会【イギリス正教会】首座グラストンベリー府主教セラフィム座下（His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Glastonbury）とキリスト教／オリエント正教会／コプト正教会／英国代表主教のアンゲロス主教座下（アンジェロス主教 ： His Grace Bishop Angaelos, General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom）の共同声明として、イギリス正教会がコプト正教会より平和裏に離脱することが合意されたという文書が出されています。

 

　イギリス正教会は、シリア正教会系の教会として成立しましたが、1994年にコプト正教会の傘下に入っていました。
　今回の離脱後、1994年以前の「autonomous（自治）」教会の地位になるとのことですが、これがオリエント正教会全体でどのような位置付けなのかはよくわかりません。
　しかし、主流のコミュニオンには属さないということになるでしょう。
