キリスト教／ローマ教皇フランシスコ聖下が、エルサレム総大司教庁使徒座管理ピエールバッティスタ・ピッツァバッラ大司教座下を新たなラテン・エルサレム総大司教に叙任（2020年10月）

　2020年10月24日、キリスト教／ローマ教皇フランシスコ聖下（His Holiness Pope Francis）は、ローマ・カトリック教会／ラテン典礼エルサレム総大司教庁使徒座管理ピエールバッティスタ・ピッツァバッラ大司教座下（ヴェルベ名義大司教 ： Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, O.F.M., Apostolic Administrator of Jerusalem, Titular Archbishop of Verbe）を、新たにエルサレム総大司教（Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem）に叙任しました。

　2016年のフアード・ブートロス・トワル総大司教座下の退任から四年ほど使徒座管理として任をにあたってきたピエールバッティスタ・ピッツァバッラ座下の順当な昇格といえそうです。
