2019年6月26日、ギリシャ共和国を訪問しているキリスト教／東方正教会／ロシア正教会モスクワ総主教庁渉外局長ヴォロコラムスク府主教イラリオン座下（ヒラリオン府主教 ： His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR)）は、キリスト教／東方正教会／ギリシャ正教会首座／アテネ・全ギリシャ大主教イエロニモス2世座下（His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece and Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece）らと会談しました。メソギア・ラヴレオティキ府主教ニコラオス座下（His Eminence Metropolitan Nikolaos of Messogaia and Lavreotiki）およびグレベナ府主教ダヴィード座下（His Eminence Metropolitan David of Grevena）らが同席。
ウクライナ問題について話し合われたようです。
またギリシャ正教会聖シノドのメンバーへの挨拶があったようです。
なお、ギリシャ正教会聖シノドでは、コンスタンティノープル系ウクライナ正教会の承認が検討されると予想されており、もし承認された場合、ロシア正教会側がギリシャ正教会との関係をどうするかが注目されます。
今回のイラリオン府主教座下との会見は、ロシア正教会との関係を維持するというギリシャ正教会側の意思表示なのか、それとも最後の挨拶なのか。
