2022年12月8日、12月2日に永眠したキリスト教／オリエント正教会／エリトリア正教会の首座／エリトリア総主教ケルロス1世聖下（His Holiness AbuneKerlos【Qerlos】【Cyril】【Kirollos】 I, Patriarch of Eritrea）の葬儀が執り行われました。
コプト正教会とエチオピア正教会は代表団を送ったようです。それぞれ、コプト正教会の首座／アレクサンドリア教皇タワドロス2世聖下（His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria）、エチオピア正教会の首座／エチオピア総主教・カトリコス“アブネ”・マティアス1世聖下（His Holiness Abune Mathias I, Patriarch and Catholicos of Ethiopia）からの弔意を読み上げた模様。
