　2017年12月4日にキリスト教／東方正教会の首座らと会合したロシア連邦大統領ウラジーミル・ウラジーミロヴィチ・プーチン閣下（His Excellency Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin）ですが、その後にアンティオキア・全東方総主教ヨウハンナ10世聖下（イオアン10世 ： ジョン10世 ： His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East）とだけ個別に会合したようです。
　東方正教会のシリアの信徒たちを助けるために派兵したことへの謝意の表明、ということでしょう。

キリスト教／東方正教会の首座らがロシア大統領プーチン閣下と会合（2017年12月）

　2017年12月4日、ロシア連邦大統領ウラジーミル・ウラジーミロヴィチ・プーチン閣下（His Excellency Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin）は、キリスト教／東方正教会の首座らと会合しました。

　ロシア正教会では、1917年にモスクワ総主教座が復活し聖ティーホンが選出されてから100年の催しがおこなわれており、他の教会から首座や代表団がおとずれている模様（コンスタンティノープルの全地総主教庁とギリシャ正教会アテネ大主教庁が来てませんが）。

キリスト教／メルカイト東方典礼カトリック教会首座／アンティオキア総大司教グレゴリオス3世ラハム座下が退任（2017年5月）

　2017年5月6日、キリスト教／ローマ・カトリック教会／東方典礼カトリック教会／メルカイト東方典礼カトリック教会首座／エルサレム総大司教／アレクサンドリア総大司教／アンティオキア・東方全土総大司教グレゴリオス3世ラハム座下（グレゴリー3世ラハム ： His Beatitude Gregorios III Laham, the Patriarch of Antioch and of All the East, of Alexandria and of Jerusalem of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church）が、退任した模様。

　退任に伴い、同教会で司教叙階よりもっとも年数が経っているアレッポ大司教ジャン＝クレマン・ジャンバール座下（Archbishop Jean-Clément Jeanbart, Archbishop of Aleppo）が総大司教庁の管理者となったようです。
