カトリック教会では、2025年5月12日～5月14日、「Jubilee of Eastern Churches」として、東方典礼カトリック教会の礼拝などがおこなわれています。
初日の 2025年5月12日 には、三つの典礼で礼拝がおこなわれました。
三つ目はコプト典礼。アレクサンドリア典礼のひとつ。
コプト東方典礼カトリック教会の首座／アレクサンドリア総大司教イブラヒム・イサク・シドラク座下（His Beatitude Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak【Sedrak】, The Patriarch of Alexandria of the Coptic Catholic Church）が司式。
場所はサンタ・マリア・マッジョーレ大聖堂（のパウリーナ礼拝堂）。
ローマ教皇庁東方教会省長官クラウディオ・グジェロッティ枢機卿座下（His Eminence Claudio Cardinal Gugerotti, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches）が臨席。

場所はサンタ・マリア・マッジョーレ大聖堂（のパウリーナ礼拝堂）。

東方教会省次官ミシェル・ジャラフ大司教座下（Archbishop Michel Jalakh, O.A.M., Secretary of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches, Titular Archbishop of Nisibis dei Maroniti）
が臨席。
金融犯罪で有罪判決ながら、自身の投票権は正式には剥奪されていないと主張していたジョヴァンニ・アンジェロ・ベッチュー枢機卿座下（His Eminence Giovanni Angelo Cardinal Becciu）は、投票に参加しないという意向を表明しました。
これについて、枢機卿代表団からは謝意と真実が明らかになることを期待する旨が述べられています。
※つまり、ベッチュー枢機卿の投票権があるかどうかについては審査されず、本人が不参加を決定したので、これ以上の検討は必要がなくなったということになる、のかどうか？
また、バレンシア名誉大司教アントニオ・カニサレス・ロベラ枢機卿座下（His Eminence Antonio Cardinal Cañizares Llovera, Archbishop Emeritus of Valencia）とナイロビ名誉大司教ジョン・ヌジュエ枢機卿座下（His Eminence John Cardinal Njue, Archbishop Emeritus of Nairobi）は健康問題で投票に参加せずとのことです。
1) Regarding the Cardinal electors, the Congregation has revealed that His Holiness Francis, by creating a number of Cardinals higher than the 120 stipulated by no. 33 of the Apostolic Constitution Universi Dominici Gregis of Saint John Paul II, of 22 February 1996, in the exercise of his supreme power, has dispensed with this legislative provision, whereby the Cardinals exceeding the set limit have acquired, in accordance with No. 36 of the same Apostolic Constitution, the right to elect the Roman Pontiff, from the moment of their creation and publication;
2) Regarding His Eminence Cardinal Giovanni Angelo Becciu, it was noted that the latter, having the good of the Church at heart, and to contribute to the communion and serenity of the Conclave, has communicated his decision not to take part in it. In this regard, the Congregation of Cardinals expresses its appreciation for the gesture he has made, and hopes that the competent judicial bodies will be able to definitively ascertain the facts.
