2023年4月21日、キリスト教／ローマ教皇フランシスコ聖下は、ローマ・カトリック教会で、アングリカン系統の教会を離脱した人々のために設けられた属人裁治区のうちオーストラリアに設置されている「南十字星の聖母の属人裁治区（Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross）」の第2代裁治権者カール・レオナード・リード司祭（Priest Carl Leonard Reid, Ordinary of Our Lady of the Southern Cross）の辞任を承認しました。
同・属人裁治区の使徒座管理として、ブロークン湾司教アンソニー・ランダッツォ座下（Bishop Anthony Randazzo, Bishop of Broken Bay）が叙任されました。
これらは2023年7月1日に効力を発揮します。

The Holy Father Francis has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the personal ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Australia, presented by Msgr. Carl Reid, with effect from 1 July 2023.
His Holiness has appointed Bishop Anthony Randazzo of the diocese of Broken Bay, Australia, as apostolic administrator “ad nutum Sanctae Sedis” of the personal ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Australia, with effect from the same date.
