マルタ騎士団【主権実体】の憲法改正に関する集会に五大陸から140人が参加した模様（2018年2月）2016年～2017年のローマ教皇とマルタ騎士団総長の対立を念頭に総長権限の縮小が最重要項目か

　2018年2月8日～2月11日の期間にイタリア共和国のローマで、マルタ騎士団の“フラー”・ジャコモ・ダッラ・トッレ・デル・テンピオ・ディ・サングイネット副長（総長代行 ： Lieutenant of the Grand Master, Frà Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto）臨席の元、憲法改正に関する集会に五大陸から140人が参加した模様です。

　また、キリスト教／ローマ・カトリック教会のローマ教皇フランシスコ聖下（His Holiness Pope Francis）より教皇の使節として、つまりマルタ騎士団を抑え込むためのローマ・カトリック教会の代表として送られてきている、ジョヴァンニ・アンジェロ・ベーチュ大司教座下（Monsignor Giovanni Angelo Becciu）が開会に臨席したようです。

　2016年～2017年に起こった当時のマシュー・フェスティング総長殿下とフランシスコ教皇聖下の間の争い（結果フェスティング殿下が辞任するも、後任の総長を選出できず、ジャコモ・ダッラ・トッレ総長代行が指名され任にあたっている。任期は一年）を念頭に、教会が騎士団を完全に抑え込むような形を整えるのが最重要項目の一つでしょう（つまり総長の権限を削るということ）。
　しかし、当時フェスティング殿下が抵抗して発言したように、主権実体の元首であるマルタ騎士団総長に対して、主権実体「ローマ教皇聖座」および主権国家「バチカン市国」の元首であるローマ教皇が“命令”するのは、主権侵害＝国際法違反という見方もあり、ローマ教皇の権威に逆らうものに対して厳しいフランシスコ聖下の方針・選択がうかがえます。

　モンテネグロからミオドラグ・ヴラホヴィッチ閣下（His Excellency Miodrag Vlahović）、
　グアテマラからアルフレード・バスケス・リベラ閣下（His Excellency Alfredo Vásquez Rivera）、

　モンテネグロのヴラホヴィッチ閣下は、国名「モンテネグロ共和国」時代に外務大臣を務めていました（独立前～独立初代）。

　ロシア貴族の家系のオーストリア共和国大統領アレクサンダー・ファン・デア・ベレン博士閣下（His Excellency Dr Alexander Van der Bellen）が、マルタ騎士団の“フラー”・ジャコモ・ダッラ・トッレ・デル・テンピオ・ディ・サングイネット副長（総長代行 ： Lieutenant of the Grand Master, Frà Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto）を訪問したようです。
