　2024年5月10日、キリスト教／中東のオリエント正教会（コプト正教会、シリア正教会、アルメニア使徒教会キリキア・カトリコス庁）の第14回首座会合がおこなわれました。

　コプト正教会の首座／アレクサンドリア教皇タワドロス2世聖下（His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria）、
　シリア正教会の首座／アンティオキア・東方全土総主教“モラン”・“モル”・“イグナティウス”・アフレム2世聖下（His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, the Supreme Head of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church）
　アルメニア使徒教会（アルメニア正教会）キリキア・カトリコスのアラム1世聖下（His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia【Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia】）
　の三者の会合がエジプトで開催。

　中東のキリスト教の現状についてや、相互の教会の関係、ガザなどの話題が取り上げられました。
　共同声明がまとめられ、エジプト大統領選挙でのシシ大統領の再選への祝意も盛り込まれたようです。
